  1. I’m not sure where I can go to talk about this..but the box set of the Ice and Fire books published by Harper Voyager Books has A LOT of typos, formatting errors, etc. I have other versions of this series, and nowhere have I seen so many typos, meaning the original transcripts do not have these errors. I’ve always thought HV books are wonderful and with great quality, but this is a really big disappointment.

    • I’ll second Jessica’s comment – I came to this website specifically to leave this comment for the publishers.

To pick one of many examples,

      p. 761 of the 2011 pbk ed of G.O.T:

‘his blue-and-red clock stained by blood and smoke’ – ehhhh ????

surely this should read cloak, not clock?

Come on HarperCollins, employ some literate _human_ proof-readers and don’t rely on spell-checking software!
