It’s a pity the artwork is so drab and ugly. Assassin’s Apprentice in particular looks like it was done by a 5 yr old. They look dated to me, like something from the 70s. Neither modern nor classic.
I think these look great but I also like my books to match so I’m not going to buy them until I know whether the other Riftwar and A Song of Ice and Fire will be released like this. Fingers crossed!
Any chance the others are song of ice and fire books will be released in clothbound? I like all my series to match and I’ve yet to start to buy these but will if I know I can have them all matching.
I’m asking myself the same question! I just preordered the first volume of the A Song of Ice and Fire series and I wanted to ask when the following volumes would come out. (matching series are the best!)

these covers are too modern for my liking. Being clothbound, they would look so much more ornate a bit more oldy worldy, but thats just me
