Paul Garrety is a Brisbane writer. He was chosen to pitch this manuscript to Stephanie at the NZ scifi convention in Wellington in 2007. He has written and published short stories (and has won prizes from writing competitions in the US and Australia). Paul works for a large Australian insurance company as well as writing; he also teaches and practises yoga. He has recently won a week’s retreat at the Olvar Wood Writing Retreat on the Sunshine Coast.
