Reaping The Harvest: Vicki Pettersson e-novella on sale!

Are your holidays getting hellish yet? Now’s the time of year when families come together and revel in the festive spirit…and start to grate on one another’s nerves. But it’s nothing compared to what Zoe Archer goes through in Vicki Pettersson’s lately re-released Signs of the Zodiac novella, The Harvest. Originally published in the Holidays Are Hell anthology, “The Harvest” is a perfect jumping-on point for those new to Pettersson’s work.

“The Harvest” brings new meaning to the idea of gathering with friends and family: it’s always best to keep your friends close and your enemies closer—and that’s why Zoe Archer must go face the leader of the Shadow Zodiac to rescue her infant grandchild. “The Harvest” is poignant and bittersweet, and sheds light on the characters of the Zodiac universe, including Warren, the Tulpa, and Zoe herself. Pettersson’s take on good versus evil is subtle and compelling in this exquisitely written novella—enough to make any fan of urban fantasy grateful that their family isn’t Zoe’s.

Praise for Vicki Pettersson:

“Pettersson hits every note in the familiar duet of a ‘reticent, complicated, darkly sexy man’ and a luscious, plucky ‘girl reporter’…. The resulting irresistibly good yarn proves that there’s still plenty of room for brilliant innovation in urban fantasy.”

Publishers Weekly on The Taken (starred review)

“Passion and intrigue, heartbreak and victory–The Touch of Twilight offers an intricate plot populated with complex characters. Nothing is predictable in Vicki Pettersson’s newest novel… except the need to read more.”

— Melissa Marr on The Touch of Twilight

“The Scent of Shadows is a bold concept, skillfully developed. The ugly grit and intoxicating glitter of Vicki Pettersson’s world of Las Vegas is the perfect mirror for her character, Joanna Archer, whose hard past flows into her unimaginably chancy future.”

— Kim Harrison on The Scent of Shadows

About the Author:

The New York Times bestselling author of The Signs of the Zodiac series—and former showgirl—Vicki Pettersson was born, raised, and still lives in Sin City, where a backyard view of the Strip regularly inspires her to set down her martini and write.
